Illuminating Chikankari
Chikankari - a traditional white-on-white style of Indian embroidery, often worked on sheer fabrics.Inspired by the grandeur of Mughal architecture, this hand-embroidered lamp combines Chikankari with block printed fabric. This project explores the adaptability of traditional Indian crafts in contemporary design, beyond its conventional use in apparel.
